Trust

A trust creates an entity to which you transfer the ownership of your assets. Within this document you outline instructions for managing your assets upon your disability or death. This document will enable your estate to avoid probate.

Will

A will is a document the controls where your assets should be distributed upon your death. It gives you power to appoint a guardian to your minor children and a will coupled with a trust will avoid probate.

 

Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney document will provide you the ability to assign someone who can sign in your name and on your behalf in you absence. A medical Power of Attorney Document appoints an agent to make end of life decisions for you. A Financial Power of Attorney document gives appoints an agent to make financial decisions if needed.

Health Care Directive

An Advanced Health Care Directive document provides you with options regarding your end of life decisions, enabling you to explicitly define how you would like to be cared for if you reach a point of disability.
